Read about uplifting tamariki and rangatahi in our May 2022 pānui. This month we are giving a shout out to the Bay of Plenty Youth Development Trust, we welcome the newly launched Tākai! website, invite you to join our next online kōrero and announce the launch hui for a new Waitaha CLD network.

We’ve just launched the revitalization of CRC with this February 2022 pānui. In this panui, we welcome new Project Lead, Louise Petzold; introduce the 2022 Child Rich Communities Action plan; look at the vital importance of play; and highlight some recent resources to use in your mahi.

Our June 2021 newsletter explored inspiring local action that supports children and whanāu in the communities that they live in. We also delved into how we can help children grow through grief and touched on how to talk about child and family wellbeing.

In our March 2021 newsletter, we shared inspiring community-led initiatives, key learnings to support intergenerational partnerships for change, and a funding opportunity for continued learning and networking for community organisations.

Our December 2020 newsletter introduced our collective of supporters, our new website and our resources to support your community-led mahi in support of children, young people and families.

April 2023 pānui - we welcome Amanda Schulze into our project team, share the upcoming online kōrero, Enabling Play in Aotearoa as well as resources and stories supporting child rich communities.

March 2023 pānui - join our first online kōrero of the year

December 2022 pānui - we recap a wonderful year the breadth of a child rich approach across Aotearoa and has brought together communities engaging in mahi that highlights the mana of our mokopuna and whānau.

October 2022 pānui - you’ll find information about our events and the inspiring work of Child Rich Communities around the motu including Ōtautahi Christchurch’s wonderful initiative, Pae Tākaro and the final review of the Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.

In the August 2022 pānui, we hope to bring some warmth and brightness into your day wherever you are, with some reminders of the incredible mahi that happens everyday in so many ways to enrich tamariki. 

During June and July 2022 Matariki can be seen more visibly on the horizon each morning. We begin to move from our process of reflection or remembering those who have passed and been influential in our lives, and begin to moemoea - to dream and plan for the year to come!
